Nice one Slarti, thanks, a change of channel from 11 to 6 seems to have
resolved it.
When my APs were switching to Auto and changing channels I'd lost my
original channels

I just stumbled onto this post and I have to say Kev, what a nice
summary in your post #4 !!, and your latest suggestion regarding the
power supply is worth a try. I had a radio that worked, but didn't do
something (can't remember?) and the PS replacement fixed it. They can
get weak, as can the

I guess it's possible the wifi chip is failing, but the power supply
unit must also be suspected, I think you have a battery installed so are
you running it on the battery? Does it still red wifi when running on
battery alone?
On the Radio, if you go to settings/advanced/diagnostics/power does
Tried 2 different fixed channels (1 & 11) with no luck!
Now checked for the issue at my old location where I had no problems and
connected the Squeezebox via mobile hotspot on my Huawei P20 Pro and
there the problem was again!

Entschuldigung für die deutsche Sprache, ich verwende Google Translate
aus dem Englischen
Squeezebox/UE-Radios können in einer WLAN-6-Umgebung unter
Verbindungsverlust leiden. Es muss nicht Ihr eigenes WLAN sein, es kann
eine Störung durch eine nahegelegene WLAN-6-Installation sein.
