Great to hear there's a new version. Still the best TN5250 emu out there. I
installed it right away, and my -s options don't work anymore. TN5250j
simply hangs. Use no CPU whatsoever. This is on WinXP Prof SP3.

I can start the jar file and it opens the first session (default). When choose
'Connections' from the pop-up menu, all my connections are listed and when I
open one of them, all settings are also still there. So no problems there.

But what has changed? How can I start 4 sessions at once with one command? I
use a shortcut for this and the command in there looks like this:

"c:\program files\tn5250j\tn5250j.jar" -s "MARCVOS-4" -s "MARCVOS-4" -s
"MARCVOS-4" -s "MARCVOS-4" -noembed

This has worked the last I-don't-know-how-many years. But it doesn't work with
0.6.2 :-(

Hi Martin,

Thanks for the upgrade, looks really good.

Another request, I have been using TN5250j ever since I came to know about
it which is around 4 yrs back. I find that some fonts have been chanced
since the 1st version I installed. I remember using 'Monospace 821 Bold
Italic BT' which really looked fantastic but I now find it missing from
the font list. Is it possible to add fonts in tn5250j ??

I am now using 'Lucida Sans Typewriter Bold Oblique' but I find that there
is no visible distinction with a 'zero' & a capital 'O' as was in the
earlier font.

Thanks & best regards
Ewart

Hi,

sounds like your Java installation is not correct.
I've tested with a fresh installation of Windows 7, works fine.
Please check, that you're using a Java 6 (or newer) runtime.

For example, open command line:

c:\java -version
java version "1.6.0_23"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_23-b05)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 19.0-b09, mixed mode, sharing)

c:\java -jar tn5250j.jar
(works fine ...)
