Hello,
your bug report is a bit "unspecific". What desktop environment / window
manager are you using? What kind of session? Where are you connecting to?
How is your session configured? Have you tried pyhoca-cli and / or
pyhoca-gui?

Hi,
there's no sense in using x2gokdrive or x2goagent/nxagent with Wayland
because both are X servers. You can use them today (for applications
"speaking" X only) by using the Xwayland on the client, since that is where
the resulting X protocol messages need to be handled. Pure Wayland

I think something like that is possible using the x2go broker.

I am not involved in Releases, so I cannot directly answer your

Hi,
Issue 1: does plain ssh access work between these machines and the

Issue 2: Have you enabled x2gokdrive in the session?
Issue 3: ould be fixed since 2022:

Hi,
for a better understanding: x2go uses NX and NX is optimized for the
X11 protocol, reducing both bandwidth and latency. Recent firefox

Hi,
your description indicates that there's too much data that needs to be

efficiently by NX.

Hello Manfred,
in published applications mode the local window manager should be
responsible for arranging the application windows. The application itself
does not know about the workspaces at all. So probably the window manager

Hi Neal,
nxagent/x2goagent checks/stores the remote size on initialization and

_think_that it will not change the resolution of a reconnected session

t -ac -55 -R in step 1 (thus simulating

The version of x2goserver and x2goclient is irrelevant here. The GLX

That is probably related to kde requiring recent opengl support which
x2go does not offer currently. May try this workaround:

I have never used or seen Mageia in action, so I have no idea how

Well, as said before I do not have any Nvidia hardware. But today I
played a bit with that stuff with Firefox 78.7.0-esr on Debian wiht
Intel graphics and I see the same errors you see inside NX. So maybe
this is not all linked to nvidia but simply firefox failing some
checks in an NX session.

Well, yum history shows you the list of updated packages.
However, nxagent should not come into touch with the nvidia stuff as
it is not using the GPU of your server. So I guess some software
inside your mate session is using OpenGL and trying to achieve that
via nvidia's libGL.
I suggest to try
That is probably connected to dbus. What kind of x2go session are you
opening?

Probably the default screenblanker. Check with xset q.

Hope that helps,

You can kill the vcxsrv process to make window vanish.
Depending on how unstable your connection is and if it comes back right
away you could try to increase the timeouts in /etc/x2go/x2goagent.options.
man x2goagent should contain some hints about timeouts.

There are two x2go thin client versions, see x2go.org. However, I do not
know them in detail and I am unsure if they work with a standard x2go
server installation or require additional software like a http server or
the x2go broker.

Two more things:
- your nxproxy log shows version 3.5.0. are you sure to have the latest
client installed?
- if that happens again please post /tmp/x2go/.../session.log

This is most likely because your desktop environment (xfce) is setting
the keyboard itself AFTER x2go does.
x2go determines the keyboard using this or a similar command and
passes the keyboard to the other side where it calls setxkbmap
(there's also an option to let x2goagent do all this itself
is started on fedora)
What happens?

Hmm, does it work without using a container? Does it work inside the
container with xfce, lxde or or just an xterm?

Hmm, I am using Firefox all the time in nx sessions to and from
Centos7. However, I do not use x2go but a propriatry script. Some
things that come to mind:
- are the homes on NFS? Ist that properly configured?
- have you tried with fresh browser profiles?
- have you tried with fresh user homes?
