Yes, I tried that one, the 2 are very simular. I also tried to email the manufacturer of the card, they responded by saying to use XFree86 or the ATI driver. Unfortunately the ATI driver is for ATI's own cards and spits the dummy commenting about 3rd party hardware and to contact the manufacturer.

I don't know a solution to this problem but it seems that the int10 or resouce management code is somewhat screwed up. There is an obvious resource conflict. The configuration the sis driver detects is completely wrong (memory size, etc), very probably due to reading the wrong card's registers.
