I have an NEC Multisync LCD1765. I have not been able to get this monitor
to work with RH9. I tried Mandrake 9.0 and the monitor worked without
problems. I tried Mandy for awhile, but I really want to go back to Redhat

I replaced the S3 Trio64 board with a S3 Virge (DX, I think) and everything
is fine. Redhat 8.0 searched out the new hardware, finished off the
configuring, and gave me the graphical login. Haven't been to sleep since...
darn freeciv:-).

startup is all messed up. I end up with only XFree
running when I used to have a KDE login.
