And for another possible option, here in a midwestern city the local health food stores carry it as well. It comes in 4 or 8 ounce bottles at a couple of strengths... about 75% and about 50%... very approximately, as I'm going from memory. It is sold in the stores purely as a solvent with no health-related claims because of FDA interference. Go to www.dmso.org and start familiarizing yourself with it. There are a couple of books worth reading on it as well. Search amazon.com. You'll want to experiment with concentration. If you're lucky you can tolerate the 50-ish percent stuff without itching or temporary skin irritation. Most people can handle 30% easily. Just rub it on as a linament over the affected areas. By the way, tell him that world-class trainers use DMSO on million dollar horses and million dollar athletes, despite the fact that the FDA has its head up its ... donkey.
