I don't think it is common, but nickel allergy isn't totally uncommon
either. I posted because it might save someone else with a known nickel
allergy 15 + years of trying to figure it out. I still can't be 100 %
certain that the SS was causing me problems, but as the months go by and
I have less and less eczema problems it is looking more and more like it
was a problem for me. I had known for years about my reactions to nickel
and surgical steel, and just never gave the SS a thought. Dumb.
BTW, I am loving the aluminum. I had forgotten how wonderfully it cooks.

Well, the frying pans are all silverstone lined. Now with the
Teflon/cancer link, I just bought a stainless steel pan with no
non-stick coating. Is it common for people to have problems with
Stainless? I didn't know what the hard anodized type cookware had, so
I didn't even consider that. Some silver earrings don't bother me,
but others do, so it must be some metal that is mixed in, but I have
no clue what.
