Yes, the solution has a combination of C# and C++ projects.  Feel free to 
ignore the C# projects when building on C++ Express.  They are not required for 
the core functionality.

While I struggle with setting up Smartbody on the Mac, I thought I'd also try 
it on Windows.  When I open vs2010.sln in Visual C++ Studio
2010 Express, I get various error messages, starting with:

"smartbody\lib\vhmsg\samples\elbenchcs.csproj cannot be opened because its 
project type (.csproj) is not supported by this version of the application."

Is that C#?
