The Blender interface seems broken but we prefer wait until the new Blender's Python API is stabilized -- Blender is now free and the Python API is one of the thing that change a lot currently.
BTW you may extend your CVS to a package of re-useable textures and / or 3D object for Soya? Having both a good 3D engine and good re-useable data would rock !
