Stuart: Thanks for pointing out this new Spotlight feature. I'd somehow missed seeing it in the release notes. (The release notes refer to Highlight rather than Spotlight.) It tells you that some direct formatting exists but it doesn't seem to say what it is or where it is. (I have an example where it says there's direct formatting for some paragraphs but I can't find any format changes.)
