when scion played for clonk 2 almost 3 years ago now in toronto with
tikiman they used 2 laptops one with live and a midi contrler remixing the
R and S material for tikiman to chant over and the second one used as a
voice processor for tikiman via logic and some great plug ins...
it was a decent approach to it...
I dont know where all this email/minesweeper folklore comes from Ive been
a laptop artist and have booked many a laptop artists for shows in toronto
and montreal and to be honest with you no one does that all artists are
working thier tracks how ever it is that they do it some are eqing/efxing
thier ready made tracks and others do it live from scratch its all a
matter of what your confortable with... hoestly why not diss a dj all
thiey are doing is playing tracks, mixin them efxing them why not diss a
dj its worse IMHO a dj is playing other peoples music... any how its all
subjective and a matter of what works best for the artist...
if you dont like it then leave no oens holding you hostage at the event...
take a walk get a drink leave the event...
there is no good or bad when it coems to this sort of thing...
