I've post my hardware list ... HTH < The problem seems to be, that it's easier to get a mobo that's bad with < Linux DAWs, based on actual common CPU sockets, than to get one that's < fine. I think you aren't using a socket AM2 based mobo, or your AM2 < based mobo is a very expensive one. Low coast mobo's like the ASUS < M2A-VM HDMI I'm using, seems to have chipsets that aren't fine with a < Linux DAW. I don't know this kind of mobo but I use Asus too ... P4P800S-E I don't know if this one is good for linux I've bought it before I started with linux. AM2 socket is good one? Good luck with choosing graphic card.
