This is an important information.

Yes it is weird.

I'll try this.

64studio:/home/spinymouse# parted /dev/sdb print
bash: parted: command not found
64studio:/home/spinymouse# gparted

For my Lenny there is gparted but not parted, I can't see it in /bin,
/sbin, /usr/bin and /usr/sbin, but it's a broken system and I didn't
work with Lenny to partition the USB stick ;), for that I only use
stable systems like my Etch.

I don't use the internet by Windows, I only install software that was
scanned by my Linux AntiVir before etc., it's only in use for audio and
video productions. Once I had a Windows too, there I had also an user
account, this time I thought it's not needed. Maybe I should change this.

64studio:/home/spinymouse# parted /dev/hda print
bash: parted: command not found

I'll do it from one of my stable Linux later, I need to do some office
work by my experimental Lenny.

Cheers,
