That's good, thanks. We're also switching from using a screensaver in 
2.1 to doing screen blanking by default in 3.0, that should save a bit 
more energy.

It's quite true that even if I'd like to be doing audio work all the 
time, a lot of the time I'm answering emails, and this could be done 
without full CPU power.

Right now, I'm running avidemux to cut a music performance DVD into a 
YouTube video, and I'm using 100% of one CPU and about 20% of the other 
CPU, according to htop :-)
