Ralf is my hero.

Please come back! I don't agree with him on everything, but so what?

Ralf, if you feel hurt by this or feel like this list has some stain on it,
shrug it off right now. We can always optimize and maybe there is some
advice to learn from. Truth be told there is no procedure or standard or
tutorial for 3.0 right now. We get used to getting kernels from Free and
now Robin shows up with .31 on the dev list that I can't install then
someone tells you to stop improvising - BULL5H1T. There is no standard
operating procedure and trying things out on your own is entirely useful.

Folks, please reconsider the psychology of volunteers and how to shape
criticism in the most positive and constructive way possible. These last 2
emails regarding 'someone' are offensive and the result is now complete
silence. Is that what you wanted?

Ralf is incredibly motivated and generous with his efforts. His wandering
ways are not his fault, but by virtue of the missing SOP cited above. If he
had specific things to focus on and a way to contribute directly to the bug
list, everyone would probably be happier and closer to release. I have no
idea myself how to help.

And honestly if you think Ralf is such a bad boy for experimenting then I
guess Skullnotions will have to go too.

;P
