"#l1: file does not exist: 'lib/firmware/iwm-7265-17'" at the bottom of your screen
I always have a window at the bottom running cat /dev/kprint so I can see those messages, and not have it trash my screen. You are missing firmware, which you have to get from a separate place, and which needs to end up in /sys/lib/firmware, iirc (not near my Plan 9 system at present).
