There are many reasons why I can't buy that about Dos. There was no
multitasking, no GUI except for the very basic ones within the programs.
Without windows no one would do graphics on a PC, it would all be MAC. Lots
of old grapnics artists were MAC only fans. But some PCs are at least as
good ad MAC. I can't say that for certain but I have heard graphics artists
say so.

I run XP Home on three networked PC's. My netowrk is just a broadband
router. I hae never been hacked as far as I know. I think that the NAT takes
care of that. It's difficult to imagine a MAC lover thinking DOS was 'the
ticket'.A Linux lover maybe. :-)
