Now that is impressive. I have about 120 installation files
tucked away, many of which are not in use but ready to go if
need be.

Would it defy the premise of this group if I were to ask you
what you think are the most useful applications in this
inventory? I'm talking about freeware, of course. Most of
the pay programs are well documented and examined. Also, I
mean general interest programs for word processing or
add-ons to Windows or browsers. That would narrow it down, I
suspect, to a more manageable size.

Once again, let me say how awed I am at your inventory! I'm
not sure I'd want to keep all that software ready to go. How
do you keep track of what you've got? 7,000 files -- that's
awesome!

Are there that many browsers? I have Firefox and IE on my
computer and IMHO that's enough. I rarely use IE, only when
some web site says they can't anything but Internet Explorer.
