Morning All... I should clarify a bit more. This installation has been running perfectly since originally installed, in 2001, under Win2000 and then re-installed when converted to XP-Pro in 2005. This issue just started this past week. I can access the program normally until I attempt a backup or the automatic backup feature activates. When I go to open the program the next time I get the blank screen each and every time thereafter. If I reboot the computer, I can then access the program just fine, until it attempts to process a backup.
I was wondering if Microsoft issued any updates, recently, which were automatically installed on the computer. I have no idea where to look, but thought if they did so, perhaps reversing that particular update to see if the problem goes away might work. However, this is out of my abilities, I fear. Just recently have been having crash problems with my QuickBooks Pro 2000 program. It will start loading and the splash screen shows. Then I get a totally white screen where the data is supposed to display with the note that QuickBooks has crashed and do you want to send a trouble report. Sending the report will then advise you to go to the Intuit website by indicating that Intuit is aware of the problem and is working to correct it. Going to the Intuit website puts you in the Support section where absolutely nothing relevant can be found. Further inquiry returns the comment that the program is no longer supported and I should update. Hell, the only thing I use the program is for my checking accounts and nothing else. I am running XP pro, Service Pak 3. Comments anyone... Thanks.
