Measures of population control could be perhaps positive effects over specially south Asian region where population explosion and meager resources is a major concern. Having said that it should not be allowed to reflect and codify the social prejudices deeply ingrained in these societies specially towards persons with disabilities and other similar marginalized groups. Such denial of very existence off disabled child could be perhaps the first step towards the wiping out off such children in want of genetically superior offspring. I might be sounding hysterical but
