This is worth noting; the purpose of my subscription to the data card is
to send and receive emails, which is necessary when I go for outside
assignments. This is definitely no comparison to broadband connections.
JFW 10.0 demo for instance took about 10 hrs to download.

I have used both Reliance and Tata Indicom data cards when I was in
Bangalore and speeds are appalling. They are OK for sending and
receiving
emails though. But for regular browsing, they are just too slow. And I
would
advice people not to bother with any of the GSM providers. Without 3G or
HSDPA, those networks are even slower than CDMA.
