I have used both Reliance and Tata Indicom data cards when I was in Bangalore and speeds are appalling. They are OK for sending and receiving emails though. But for regular browsing, they are just too slow. And I would advice people not to bother with any of the GSM providers. Without 3G or HSDPA, those networks are even slower than CDMA.
