Unfortunately you are not alone Prateek. Yes lot of time and resources has
been spend on awareness on Question 9 of the on-going Census this year.
However there are cases where this question was not asked.

This evening, I was the guest speaker in one phone-in programme of one FM
Channel on the topic Census and Disability. There was one caller who called
during the programme and said that he was not asked the question. He himself
raised this with the enumerator, to which the reply was "But you do not look
disabled, that's why we omitted it". And according to this gentleman, he has
75% orthopedic disability. He even showed his certificate to the enumerator!

We received few other similar complaints in our helpline as well. And mind
you all the complaints we received till now are from Kolkata city and not
from the districts.
