Hello, I have gone through all the mails on this issue, here I would like to express my personal view. Today everything works on simple law of market that is supplier will get the price for his product as per the demand for the product and quality of the same. And marriage is not an acception for this. Let me prove with an argument, many of us use a mobile with talks suppose someone tells you to buy the mobile with its defective display in a full price, will you buy it? Certainly not, even it will not affect the usability of the product. Same is true for the marriage, which parents will marry there sited child without any other handicap to a VI person? This is possible only in 2 situation s. first is when a sited person is in a true love with a blind person, as said by lalit sir. And second condition is when blind person accept the sited person on certain compromise. Such as education, divorce, or other closes like taking care of spouses parents. ECT. I don’t have any complain for the society. Just think from your own point of view. And ask some question to yourself. 1 if I would have been sited would have married to a blind person? 2 will I carry a proposal of my sited son or daughter for arrange marriage with a blind person? 3 will I accept a decision taken by my sited children to marry a blind person? Still there are examples of sited marrying blind. I take them as acceptions and hopes all of us should fall in that acception. What I firmly believe there are many to sympathize few to empathize and rear to accept us as life partner. I think that compromise has to be done as far as the marriage of VI is concernd. One can creat ones own frame work of compromise, that is what kind of compromise a VI can make to make him accepted by other person with his or hir disability. I think that if compromise is to be made then rather to marry to a person with same handicap one should marry to a person with diferent handicap. So they can substitute each other disebility. To go for such decisions one should be practical rather then hypothatic. Afterall one should buy that commodity which fits in ones budget.
