But ironically, they understood the huge ramification and referred it to a standing committee but you who claim yourself as a disability activist still harping hard for its passage by hook and crook to earn political points. you have unnecessarily wasted our time and misleeded media. but we have always fought for our rights and will not let this retrograde Bill be passed through an ordinance If you are honestly concerned about newly included categories,consider this suggestion seriously. Ask your gandhis (Mother and Son)to bring an amendment to existing PWD 1995 act via an ordinance and incorporate provisions where all benefits and services be available to newly included disabled categories also. let standing committee do its job for ensuring true inclusion and providing rights in consonance with UNCRPD for all sections which India has ratified. Hope this makes sense...
