If the government is so keen to bring the new disabilities in the
perview of law, what did it do in the last ten years? When the
amendments were proposed in the PWD act of 1995, why did the
government close its eyes to the amendments? when the elections are
nocking on the door, every one is so keen to expose themselves as a
well-wishers of disabled. it is nothing but a political stunt.

Given the current scenario, it is the best option to include new
disabilities in the PWD act, 1995 through the Ordinance and let them
be benefitted. but for the long run, let the parliamentary committee
to do its work.

one thing is very clear that once this retrograde bill becomes an act
through an ordinance, then this bill be passed in the parliament also.
we will have to wait another 25 years to get our demands be included
in the new bill.

We will not let this retrograde bill be enacted as a law through a
biased Ordinance. Biased in the sense that some people are trying to
earn political points through this ordinance.

"nobody will give you rights, you have to take them."
