i  faced this problem while i  am configureing my windows live mail
and my sir done like this .
first go to settings
then  go into accounts
afterthat go into google account settings

there you will find 2  options
2-Step Verification
turn it off
and
next is Access for less secure apps
i  don't know what is it's default but make
allowed
 hope your problem gets solved
