hi, yes I know that a dot sign beneath a letter is used in Marathi. It is called Nukta in Hindi. you can type the dot sign separately after typing the particular consonant letter. Instead, you can also type the letter with the dot sign joined monolithically. Mind that Hindi does not use all Devanagari letters. It may be a different matter that the key layout which you used before Google Input may not have mentioned the special letters. Can you brief other symbols that are used in Marathi other than the nukta? I have to work for Marathi. I have done for other Indian Languages.
