In an earlier message I mentioned MacOS X being less expensive but I should have been clearer. I was refering to the operating system itself and not the hardware. Last time I looked a 25 user license for a Win server was something over $3K. An Xserve with unlimited MacOS X Server can be had for about that. But you bring up a good point. Do you need Win Server to run an Active4D app? My guess is no. What are people running Active4D using when it comes to a Win OS? Win2K? WinXP? > And then, Active4D still runs pretty fast.. :) Good to know it's fast in the real world.
