In an earlier message I mentioned MacOS X being less expensive but I should 
have been clearer. I was refering to the operating system itself and not the 
hardware. Last time I looked a 25 user license for a Win server was something 
over $3K. An Xserve with unlimited MacOS X Server can be had for about that.

But you bring up a good point. Do you need Win Server to run an Active4D app? 
My guess is no. What are people running Active4D using when it comes to a Win 
OS? Win2K? WinXP?
