Probably the biggest preformance hit comes from compiled versus interpreted. Whichever 4D product i use would have to allow for using a copmiled app. I don't think 4D Runtime Classic does but I'm not 100% certain of that. I tend to prefer Mac servers over Windows, but then I all I have are Mac servers. lol. On the other hand, if Windows is significantly faster, then I might reconsider.
