Hi Eunice,

At Old Dominion University, we only have one update date for the entire policy, 
which has a section on Procedures.  However, the content of that section will 
sometimes contain only an introductory statement and a link to the procedures 
that are in separate document, especially if they are very complex and may 
change more frequently.  That way, we do not have to update the policy every 
time the procedures are changed.

Hello all.

For those of you who have a combined document - policy and procedure - do you 
allow separate update dates (edit, revision) for each of those sections 
(policy/procedure), or when a document is updated, do you change both dates?  
In the past, we've had folks update both dates, and I'm leaning towards going 
the other way.  So I figured I'd ask to see if there is a "usual" practice out 
there.
