If I read your document correctly, your institution is raising all post-doc
salaries to the minimum threshold.  I like!  We are in the position of
having many more professional staff employees (hundreds) than post-docs.
Probably because we are a younger research university.

Did your university (or anybody else on the list serve?) make a decision on
how to handle professional staff?  Idaho has a lower than average median
wage so lots of folks making $40,000 - $45,000 at the university.  Perhaps
our problem is unique.
