I have been spraying a fixative layer on the printed DVD. It gives a glossy
look as well as making the disc water proof and smudge proof. I ordered 100 TY
disc (value line). Looks like someone mentioned the different white shade in
the hub area is in the Premium line. I guess I have to order them all in
small quantity to try out.

  Taky,

I'm not sure on that. I haven't used the Taiyo Yuden discs yet, but
ordered a couple hundred today so I'll see. I heard the finish on the
new waterproof glossy discs is beautiful so I may get some of those &
offer them to clients for an additional 50 cents each since they are
about twice the price of the regular discs. I'll be duplicating about
1000 discs from now till the end of the year so I want to make sure I
have the best quality. I'll let you know what the TY discs look like &
  how they print.

the Taiyo Yuden disc inkjet huh printable DVD the hub area show a
transparent white so the printout is not consistent throughout the
disc. Do you experience the same issue?
