Hi Greg. Red flags:
1) You only really need 80Gb HDDs for OS & programs, preferably 2 drives in RAID 1. I have that setup fully loaded with many programs and still 30Gb spare! :-) 2) Storage HDDs are not big enough. For the small extra, 500Gb or even 750Gb (SATAII of course) would be far better. I use 2 x 500Gb HDDs in RAID 0 and believe me, they can quickly get full if I'm running several PPro projects. I have a WD 500Gb for dumping video backups on my LAN and that is starting to fill. It's also abysmally slow - should run at 100 speed but only achieves 10 !!! :-( I have an old PIII machine with a 1GHz proc., which by today's standards is slow, but it's very fast as a server and runs 3 x USB printers, so I'm now leaving the 80Gb IDE drive in it for OS and programs and fitting a SATAII PCI card along with a 750Gb HDD for more backup storage and when funds permit, I may even add another 750Gb and put them both into RAID 0. 3) The Intel DP35DPM mobo spec only mentions 1 x eSATA with RAID support. If the other 4 are SATAII and can be used in RAID then it's a good buy, otherwise I'd look for something else with support for RAID on all 6 ports.
