Well, TPI was supposed to be something along these lines, but it destroyed
itself rather than the language or the community. 

Having a 'portal' where companies can go for a single defined presence
shouldn't be a lethal suggestion. Companies don't usually like to spend
big cash in people, time or otherwise on moving targets.
