Understanding means that you know something about the thing you didn't know
before looking at it. I was drawing yesterday-this discussion is taking
place amid a fullscale push -and as I drew along making sure the rod was round
and not flat I suddenly realized that it was about a half inch off the surface
it was against and that it ought to be, considering its purpose. I hadn't
really looked at it before,I had just put the shape in place.

evaded. You may think this is not long enough to answer the questions but
