What’s annoying is when someone calls to cancel because they switched to Starlink, and they think it’s $50 or $55 (it’s actually $65 unless you buy the equipment upfront). But they think they were paying us $75 when it was actually $50 or $60.

I'm with Ken. Most of our fiber customers are gigabit which is $94.95. They all think it's either $95 or $100. We have so many accounts that are months/years old and the pennies/dollars are stacking up. They just keep throwing the extra amount. People's memory is simply awful. There's no other way to put it. Eye witnesses to events are absolutely tragic when it comes to recalling any reasonable details. Often when talking to current customers, they think their current price is higher than it is. Like if they’re asking about increasing their speed tier, they’ll say they’re paying $75 now when it’s actually $50 or $60. In some cases they are on autopay so maybe they don’t get a paper invoice and would have to check their credit card statement to see what they’re paying. I’m just wondering, is this a common trick our brains play on us?
