I too have done 80 on snow and ice, in a Jeep Liberty 4WD w/ a slight
lift and studded tires.

The scubarus behind me got stuck in the drifts - not enough ground clearance.

The pickup trucks skidded off the road when the rear end slipped - no
weight in the back.
