Just got back from Barbados a couple of weeks ago. Driving there can get a
bit hairy, between the crazy drivers, no one using turn signals, poor road
markings, and the "third lane" for motorcycles. We arrived during rush
hour, luckily the weather is nice and the urban areas are much smaller than
the places you are describing. I don't think I would want to drive in China
or India.
