According to the class that I attended at the NATE conference in New Orleans last week, 5G will be ready for widespread deployment by 2020. Verizon is starting trails in AT&T’s backyard, DFW market, of their new 5G product. It will be fascinating to see where the carriers take this new technology in the coming years.
