The problem with the 1000 is that a lot of them used to come without the
nut thingies around the antenna connectors tightened all the way and water
would leak in there... at least that's the best theory I could come up with
as to why they leaked... anyway, I haven't had any fill with water since I
started tightening them more and slapping some clear Gorilla tape over the
lights seems to fix that problem pretty well.

I haven't seen any problems with the 2000 so far. They're a much better
design, in my opinion... at least they don't have any crummy little
stickers that fall off and leak.
