Yeah, I figured I'll just have to try it.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that you're right - it needs -4/5 +7/8 for power over sync to work. I know that's the case with the 1000, and I'm pretty sure that I've powered ePMP 2000s with that pinout, although I can't remember where at the moment... anyway, the chances of it blowing anything up are pretty tiny, so I'd just hook it up that way and see if it works. I don't think I've come across anything yet that does PoE on a gigabit port that won't take any power pinout you throw at it.

No, this is just my bench setup for now. So no surge suppressors,
bonding and stuff to make things more confusing.

Honestly, I've just been using the on-board GPS on the ePMP stuff
until now, mostly because we've been doing omni micro-POP sites or
one or two sectors. But we're going to start doing more full
clusters and I want everything at the same site on the same timing
    source.

And I don't know WTF is going on, but I can't seem to find APC
PRM24's anywhere. Found some on Amazon only to have the seller
tell us their stock was wrong and they don't have any. Now we've
had some on order for weeks from Solid Signal. Apparently they
don't have stock either, so they said they'd drop ship from Tessco
or something like that. And..... they're waiting on them from
Schneider/APC. Bastards. So that's mostly why I've had two
RackInjectors sitting in my office doing nothing and I figured I'd
at least power them up and play around. As if I don't have enough
    other shit to do.

i have a set not syncing off the powerinjector, im thinking its
that all the radio grounds ar bonded top and bottom and the pipe
is also, so is an equal ground plane with too long a run, its
freaking it out some how, havent gone to unbond the tops yet
im assuming the guts are essentially the same between
powerinjector and rev 1 rack injector

So, the ePMP 2k ships with a passive POE brick that's +4/5
-7/8, 48VDC. That's how I have the port on the RackInjector
jumpered. Radio is set to sync source = CMM3. Status shows
        CMM Sync Down.

Now the obvious question is, I'm guessing I needs it to be
        -4/5 +7/8 like traditional Canopy? The 2k is 802.3at
compliant, so I'm guessing that will be fine. But the OEM
brick is different. I assume the answer is yes, but I don't
        want to blow things up.

Unless I'm doing something else wrong. The RackInjector shows
sync and yes, the sync pulse is enabled on the port.

Probably another question is, will the 2k support "Cambium
Sync" like the 450i and 450m? Or are they going to make us
        wait for the 3k?
