If it's 802.3at it's probably polarity insensitive and isolated. There are electrical reasons why a canopy style sync over power radio needs the pins in that direction to work. It is a similar reason to why you can't power a sync over power radio with negative voltage.
The next two rackinjector cards will do either polarity as long as the radio is happy with it. I can do this due to the fact that I'm no longer doing canopy style sync over power on these cards.
