Yeah, I reversed it today and "CMM" sync came up fine. I just got a little
paranoid about potentially blowing up a $500 radio.

Are all 802.3at compliant radios with a GigE interface going to be this way?
They don't care about polarity? I unplugged this ePMP 2k today and plugged in a
Baicells Nova 227 without any jumper changes. Didn't even turn off sync on the
port. And it worked perfectly fine.

Hmmm. I wonder if the ePMP 2k would run on -48......?

I guess we all really did bitch loud enough over the years. Non-standard POE
seems to be disappearing, and I like it. Now I'm afraid I'll have to join
Hammett's DC+SFP crusade. I'm scrrrd.

All cambium radios which take sync over power should be set just like
traditional canopy, or else sync over power won't work.

So, the ePMP 2k ships with a passive POE brick that's +4/5 -7/8, 48VDC. That's
how I have the port on the RackInjector jumpered. Radio is set to sync source =
CMM3. Status shows CMM Sync Down.

Now the obvious question is, I'm guessing I needs it to be -4/5 +7/8 like
traditional Canopy? The 2k is 802.3at compliant, so I'm guessing that will be
fine. But the OEM brick is different. I assume the answer is yes, but I don't
want to blow things up.

Unless I'm doing something else wrong. The RackInjector shows sync and yes, the
sync pulse is enabled on the port.

Probably another question is, will the 2k support "Cambium Sync" like the 450i
and 450m? Or are they going to make us wait for the 3k?
