If you dissolve the identification with form and enjoy true freedom then
why would you go back to identifying with yet another embodiment? The
main reason for sticking with an embodiment seems to be to help other
not-yet-liberated chunks of consciousness to go through the singular
gate of enlightenment. In certain flavours of Buddhism the "disciple"
promises to stay identified with form (instead of going into the state
of non-identification / Nirvana) until all other sentient beings are
"free" as well. "The Bodhisattva vow is the vow taken by Mahayana
Buddhists to liberate all sentient beings."
(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bodhisattva_vow) Jesus stayed with us in
flesh-form to guide us towards the "gate-less gate" ... towards the
"kingdom of heaven" ... not because he enjoyed steering a bag of meat
around in this reality frame.
If you graduate from preschool you don't go back there again using a
different avatar - right? You learned what had to be learned and move on
to operate within a new environment. You don't go back to the same
limited learning environment over and over again?
This is confusing.
