Oh actually on the brain in a vat topic. I have an ongoing personal narrative, where I telepathically communicate, with robots from a future time-line, via my brain in a vat in that future, is used to quantum bind to me now. It's the robots on 90482 Orcus, which I mention occasionally.
However even though at some future time, my brain may be in a vat, with memories harvested. At the present moment, my brain is in homo-sapien body. Though even with the mental or "imagined" communications, I've learned a bunch from their successful robot society, and it certainly helps to motivate me, to continue with my work.
