And its 75% and not 95% not because we lack the resources or the production capacity but because distribution is based on purchasing power and not on what is possible/feasible from a scientific/technical point of view. So this is rather an argument against the free market. Also ask a victim of foreclosure if he/she is happy because she owns a mobile phone?

I don't think that many people out there understand the difference the socioeconomic model makes when approaching the singularity. We will never know but i can imagine that there is a thousandfold higher existential risk present in a competitive framework full of socioeconomic asymmetries.
