At some point, most people will not have any skills that a machine
couldn't do. We say we need a job to define ourselves, to give
ourselves a purpose in life. Yet if you give people a choice between
working their current job and not working but earning the same income,
most people would not work. A lot of people don't need to work
(children and retired) and it doesn't seem to bother them.
Three points:

1. In which universe can an unemployed person earn the same income as working on their current job?
Trust-fund beneficiary, or Inherited wealth, or etc.

2. When will the global socialist legislation pass to allow displaced humans to earn their regular wage?

3. Even if prices of goods are reduced, if no one is working, they may not be able to afford them.

Money is a form of rationing. If no one makes money anymore, that will necessitate a new (or different) form of rationing.
