In some socialist states can get enough money to get food, clothing and
shelter. That's far more than available to prehistoric man for doing
essentially nothing.

A lot of people that work are spending their money on lots of things they
wouldn't need to be if they lived at home, or had their own family farm.

For instance I'd be happy to have a plot of land, grow nuts, fruits,
berries and vegetables, build boats etc as an enjoyable past time.

It's like that guy in the youtube video was saying, the best future is the
open-source DIY self-sustaining kind.

Lots of self-sufficient eco-communities.
