That's right it's a systems thing. It's better for human systems, even if p-consciousness is just an illusion (to some people), that I'm not allowed to cut my neighbors head off because I don't like him. Often the thinking is that the human mind is separate and above nature, at a higher level. Otherwise the meat mechanics take over. Perhaps that's how it worked. The superiorly intelligent p-conscious people killed off the non or lower p-consciousness people and there are still a few left over. Or p-consciousness is a hopeful illusion and uploading will bring us into the real deal. Since when does an illusion become reality anyway? Everything is an illusion, the mind constructs our view of reality the real universe isn’t this perty is it? That would make beauty an illusion too.
